If your iPhone is locked to a particular carrier, then it’s very difficult if you want to use any other SIM card on it. But all the iPhones are not locked that Apple sells in the UK, mostly the iPhones that are sold by carriers are locked to their network. You will get to know that your iPhone is locked to a particular carrier when you insert a SIM and won’t be able to make any call from that.
Here I am providing a list of carriers in the UK and how to unlock an iPhone by them.
