How to turn off app notifications on Android
Turning off notifications on Android is pretty much the same on all devices. Here is what you need to do:
- Go to Settings
- Tap on Apps (on some devices it is App Manager, Applications, Application Manager, etc.)
- Go through the apps and tap on the app from which you don’t want to receive notifications
- Now, uncheck the option “Show notifications”
- You will be asked if you want to turn off the notification, click OK
Do the same for all the apps for which you want to stop notifications. You should leave the notifications turned on for your favorite applications.
