The App Store for Apple Watch is launched and since last week when Apple Watch hit the markets people can access the App Store and get the apps for their new amazing device. On the initial launch, the number of available applications for Apple Watch has reached out 3000 apps. Tim Cook said that the number of apps is increasing, and there are 3500 apps available. At the very beginning, Apple hoped for only 1000 apps when Apple Watch launches.
“And we thought it would be great if we were able to do that by a little bit, and as I’ve mentioned before, we now have over 3,500 apps in the App Store for the Watch. We couldn’t be happier about how things are going from that point of view”, Tim Cook said during a financial report Q2 2015
Initial Applications for a product with the OS platform are highly important. For comparison, in 2008 when the App Store was opened for the first time for iPhone and iPod Touch, there were 500 apps in the App Store. When the iPad hit the markets in 2010, 1000 apps were available for this device in the App Store
Developers are giving their best to create a fun and interesting to use apps. Their effort in creating the apps always pays off, because the consumers keep using their apps. For developers who designed some amazing apps which are not popular, this is the perfect time to present their apps to the world, and gain the popularity.
