First off, I have to say that this year’s Halloween was the best one. But that doesn’t mean that we will just let October get away without noting down the best apps and games released in the month. There were some really mind blowing apps released by both, Google and Microsoft. There were also some fantastic games that were released.

The Best Android Apps and Games of October
I’m always interested in what you guys have installed and the best games that you’ve been playing recently. So make sure that you let me know in the comments below. And with that, let’s start digging.
The best Android apps and games of October
The Wolf Among Us
This game is available across all the platforms, but this was the first time when a console/PC game has been released for smartphones. And don’t let yourself underestimate the game by judging it through those 2D characters. The Wolf Among Us is an adult game.
The plot is that a town sheriff named Bigby, controls the players. Bigby has some temper issues which lead to him transforming into a wolf. The whole gameplay takes place in Fabletown, a city which is the birthplace of many different characters too. So these guys use some kind of magic to make sure that the citizens of New York are not disturbed by their powers. In the first episode, you will be dealing with Wolf’s well-known adversary, the Woodsman. All the decisions you make in the game has lasting effects in the rest of the story. So it completely depends on you to handle every situation.

Republique
This is one of the best games released in October. It takes place in a dystopian world filled full of conspiracies. You as a player has to remain in the stealth mode and avoid detection, gather clues, perform hacks and anything required to unveil a huge conspiracy. The game has an awesome storyline, original voice acting and cinema-quality motion capture and stunning graphics.
You will require having a season pass to have access to this game and other episodes as they are released. There is also the developer commentary, so digest that too.

Autodesk SketchBook
Autodesk SketchBook is a freehand drawing app for Android users. Though it was not released in October, the new version has given the app a completely new look, filled with features. It has a wide range of brushes, bundles, etc. that are available through the in-app purchases. The great thing is that you can do a layered drawing, and mirror it too. You can also connect the app to DeviantArt to share your creativity instantly with millions of other people.
So if you do any doodling, SketchBook is worth a download.

Inbox
You knew this was coming. Google has recently released a new app for handling emails. This app is available for both, iOS and Android. I have to say that it is a fantastic app. All your important messages/emails are pushed to the top, and Google will also gather information from outside sources to determine whether certain messages are important or not.
For now, you will require an invitation to use this app but you can get that easily because Google is giving those out themselves.
