Within few minutes of start of accepting pre-orders for Apple Watch, some versions of Apple Watch got were sold out.
The pre-order started on Friday 12.01 a.m. Apple is going to release the Watch on April 24 but many people who are wishing to get one will have to wait a bit longer before they actually get the watch to wear on their wrists.
In the mid-night, the pre-orders for the black Apple Watch Sport were so much that the estimated shipping date was calculated as middle of next month. Within few minutes, the time frame changed to late May.

At 12.40 a.m., the most high end apple watch among the three models, the Apple Watch Edition in rose gold color showed a dispatch date of July. The shipping date was even longer for the Yellow gold version, August.
Apple watch was trending in Twitter very much and David Nitzsche twitted that everyone ordered the Apple Watch Sport of 42mm in grey color.
The pre-order started means that the shoppers can start singing up for appointments in order to try on the watch at Apple’s retail stores.
On Friday early morning, it is found that the demand for try-on appointments is also very high. The pre-order for Apple watch started at 12.01 a.m. on Friday and little before 1.00 a.m. the try-on appointment at the Grove shopping center Apple store was showing 3 appointments for Friday and some for Sunday and Saturday. But at 1.05 a.m., it was showing that the calendar is down and was replaced with a message “this service is unavailable, please try later”.
At the beginning of this week, Apple said that they are expecting to sell out the first supply of Apple Watch within launch. In case of iPhone, Apple usually reveals the pre-order sales numbers of first weekend on Monday, so we are expecting to hear some indication from Apple about the pre-orders next week.
