Microsoft has released a new “Selfie” App for the iPhone to transform average photos into more presentable portraits with some easy steps. Currently, the Selfie application is only made for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and it is not optimized for the iPad yet. Selfie will join other Microsoft apps for iOS platform.
With their focus, “mobile first, cloud first”, Microsoft makes the amazing apps for other platforms, like Outlook client apps, Office, and more. It seems that the Selfie app is addressed especially for the ladies who love to take selfies, because of its feminine icon.
Microsoft describes their Selfie app as follows:
Microsoft Selfie is a selfie and portrait enhancement application. The app takes age, gender, skin tone, lighting, and many other variables into account, applies different models automatically and finishes enhancement with just a single click. Users can transform average photos into more presentable portraits in seconds. Key features of this application are noise reduction, intelligent enhancement, automatic exposure and color theme.
You can download Microsoft Selfie from the App Store for free, but it requires iOS 8 or later.
