Huawei officially announces that their mid-range phone, Honor 5X will be available in the U.S on January 31, 2015. Honor 5X was announced for the first time in October 2015 and started to be sold one year after in China. This phone is designed very well by Huawei and it looks like a high-end smartphone.Two of its flagship features are the aluminum body and fingerprint sensor.
Honor 5X has a 5.5-inch display size – the same as iPhone 6s Plus – with 1080p resolution. Regarding its performance, this device relies on the 64-bit processor Snapdragon 615, Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 with GPU Adreno 405. It uses 2GB memory and can be expanded up to 128GB by using microSD if the 16GB of internal storage is not enough for you. The rear camera is 13 megapixel, f2.0 aperture, while for the front facing camera, it uses 5-megapixel with an f2.4 aperture. When it comes to the battery, it has 3000 mAh of battery capacity, which is claimed can last up to 1.5 days using the additional power saver feature, called Smartpower 2.0.
