How to take screenshots in Sims 4
You can capture the screen when playing the game, and while you may be expecting some long tutorial with a lot of steps, you’ll be surprised to know that all you need to do to create a screenshot is to press C and the screenshot is taken.
When you want to see the screenshots you’ve taken, you should go to File Explorer > Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Screenshots.
But, once you open the screenshots, you might not like the images. Why? Because you’ll notice the speech bubbles above the Sims heads along with Plumbobs and more. It can destroy the whole thing. Is there a way to get rid of it all and finally take the screenshots that will look just as you want? Sure there is and here is how to achieve that.
First, press Ctrl + Shift + C. In the top-left corner of the screen you’ll notice the box. Type the following: headlineeffects off and press enter. Boom! There it goes – all the things that have been spoiling your screenshots are gone. You can create a scene you want and press C to take a screenshot. Finally, you will have some images to brag to your fellow Sims 4 players.
When you want to enable the Plubobs and speech bubbles all over again, just press Ctrl + Shift + C again, and type headlineeffects on and press enter. That’s it!
