Now once we have handled the major problem let’s take care of that minor issue with downloads limitations. In this Xiaomi mi4 Wi-Fi issue, you won’t be able to download any file larger than 1MB. This problem is caused by some download management in the phone’s settings.
- To fix this issue what you need to do is go to the Downloads app.
- Once you are in the Downloads app, then you will be able to see a small gear icon at the top right. You need to click this to enter the settings for this app. In the settings, you will be able to see the data usage slider which is the control centre for all your Downloads.
- You would need to reset this limit to what you feel is a good limit for your file download needs. If you want to remove this limit altogether then you can set it to unlimited and then you’ll not be bothered by this thing at all.
- Now you’re done so just exit the settings and start downloading whatever you want to.
