The first way: Using the AdBlock software

Yes, we know what you are thinking, Funimation does not allow you to stream content if you have the ad-block turned on, the platform automatically detects it. But, there is a way for your ad-blocker to work; you will have to download another software next to the ad-blocker. So, you can just go and download any kind of ad-blocker that you want to download, there is a sea full of those. And especially if you are using Google Chrome as your preferred browser, you will be able to choose between many different kinds of ad-blockers in the Chrome Store. You will for sure stumble upon some ad-blockers which are not free. If you want to, you are able to pay a subscription in order to use them, or just stick to the free ad-blockers for now.

And after the ad-blocker has been downloaded and installed to your browser and device, you will have to download another software that is going to grant access to the ad-blocker on any website. Go to your browser and search for the Anti Adblock Killer software. You can access it just by clicking on this link. So, after you have opened this link, you should be able to see the UserScript box there, click on it, and then click on the Download button to begin that process.

When the Anti Adblock Killer has been installed, you will have to download a user script manager extension on your browser. There are many managers that will help you, for example, you can use the Tampermonkey manager.

Finally, after you have set up all of these software extensions, you will have to close your browser, and then open it again. Then, head over to the Funimation platform and start streaming your content without any interruptions.

The second way: Disable JavaScript on this platform

The second way that we are going to be showing you in this article, is to get rid and disable the JavaScript on Funimation. This disabling process might work, but also, there is a chance that it will not stop the ads. So, let’s begin, here are the steps:

The first thing that you will need to do is to open up the Funimation platform in your browser. When the Home page of this platform loads, move your cursor to the URL of the platform and try to locate the platform’s logo right next to the URL. Click on the logo. A pop-up menu with many different options should show up on your screen. You will need to find the JavaScript section and click on it to open it. Next to the JavaScript, you should be able to see a small arrow that is facing down. By clicking on it you will be expanding a drop-down menu. In that menu find and click the Disable option. After that, simply reload Funimation and start streaming.
