The latest flagship from Apple, the iPhone X, which is also the company’s most expensive phone ever, brought some pretty cool features. It has a great design and it offers outstanding performance. But, what to do if the screen is unresponsive or when the phone freezes? In such situations, restarting the device (turning it off and back on) probably won’t work. You need to hard reset the phone. Apple has changed the method from older models and that’s why we are going to show you how to force restart the iPhone X.

How to force restart the iPhone X
The simplest way to fix unresponsive screen or a frozen phone is by performing a force restart. On older iPhones, users need to press and hold the combination of two keys in order to hard reset the phone. Now the Apple has changed that. But don’t worry, it is still very simple. It requires only three simple steps. Here is how to force restart the iPhone X:
- Press the Volume Up button and release
- Press the Volume Down button and release
- Finally, press and hold the Side button (the Power button) until you see the Apple logo.
As you can see, it is still pretty simple. But, keep in mind that you should not press the Volume Up and Volume Down button at the same time. You need to press Volume Up and let it go right away, and then press the Volume Down and release it. Then, press and hold the Side button and release it when you see the Apple logo.
So, if the screen of the phone becomes unresponsive at any point, or if your phone freezes, go for a force restart. It is a simple but effective solution that will put things in motion and the phone will work like a charm again.
