Solution No.1: Toggle Wi-Fi

Very often, the problem can be solved just by toggling the Wi-Fi. Turn it off, wait a bit, and then turn it back on. Hopefully, the connection won’t be so slow anymore.

Solution No.2: Airplane mode ON/OFF

This trick will come as handy whenever you have connection problems. What you need to do is go to Settings, turn the Airplane Mode ON, wait for a couple of seconds, and then turn it back OFF. It’s one of the simplest solutions possible, but it is among the most effective ones.

Solution No.3: Set up a Wi-Fi connection as new

This may help. Navigate to Settings, tap on Wi-Fi, find your Wi-Fi connection, tap and hold it and then click Forget. Now, set up a new connection.

Solution No.4: Turn off Wi-Fi networking

For many users, this was the solutions. Go to Settings, then tap on Privacy. Next, click on Location Services. You’ll see Wi-Fi networking (located under System Services). Turn it off.

Solution No.5: Restart your iPhone

There are tons of issues that can be fixed with a simple restart. You know that whenever you have a problem, one of the first things usually recommended as the solution is restart, and that’s not the case just with smartphones. It’s the same with tablets and computers. Press and hold the sleep/wake button. Next, drag the slider and turn your phone off. When it’s off, press and hold the sleep/wake button and turn your iPhone 6 back on.

Solution No.6: Restart your router

Same as restarting the iPhone can help, restarting the router can solve the problem too, so make sure you give it a try.

Solution No.7: Reset network settings

Here is how to do this:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap on General
  • Tap on Reset
  • Choose the option “Reset network settings”

Solution No.8: Reset all settings

This is not the same as “Erase all content and settings”, and when doing this your data won’t be deleted. Follow the steps below:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap General
  • Tap on Reset
  • Tap Reset all settings
