> First plug in the charger to the main power source and let it charge for at least 10 minutes. In the mean time look for the charging sign in the phone and also see if the LED is becoming RED or not. If your battery is depleted fully then it will take little long to charge up and to show the sign of charging.

> If the phone does not show any sign of charging after 10-15 minutes then take out the battery and mount it properly. Try charging now again.

> If the situation is still same then take out the battery again to check the liquid damage indicator (LDI), which is the little sticker on the battery. If the sticker is white then no liquid has entered in the phone but if the sticker color is changed to red, pink or purple then it is confirmed that your phone’s battery came in touch with liquid somehow. Take it to the technician for repairing then.

> It is also advised to check if the battery is swelled, lumped or has any leakage. In case of defective battery you need to replace it soon.
