Solution No.1: Toggle Location Services

This is the simplest solution because all you need to do here is turn off location services and then turn it back on. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

Solution No.2: Date & Time

Some users found that going to Settings > Date & Time and choosing the option “Set automatically” will fix the problem, and that’s just a few taps so make sure to try this out.

Soluiton No.3: Turn off LTE

Another thing you may try is this: go to Settings > Cellular > Voice & Data and select 3G.

Solution No.4: Navigation app

You need to make sure the navigation app you are using is up to date. Just go to the App Store, and if there is an update install it. If this doesn’t help, you should reinstall the application. Find the app’s icon on the Home screen, tap and hold it and when the X shows up click on it. The app will be uninstalled. Go to the App Store, find the app and install it again.

Solution No.5: Restart your device

We can create a list of problems that can be fixed by a simple restart, and the list would be pretty long. Press and hold the sleep/wake button, and then move the slider in order to turn off your phone. When it is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button and turn it on.

To reset network settings, follow the steps below:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap General
  • Tap Reset
  • Tap Reset network settings

Solution No.7: Reset all settings

This will not delete any of your data. Here is what you need to do:

  • Navigate to Settings

  • Tap Reset
  • Tap Reset all settings
