First method: Remove and add your Google account

Sometimes android users face this error due to sign-in problem while the Google play store is upgraded. So first go to Settings > Account > Google > Remove Google account. This should be the account that is giving you error message. Now again add the account. Most probably it will fix Google play store authentication error. Second method: Clear cache and Data from Google play store
