Solution No.1: Toggle Wi-Fi

Let’s start with the simplest option. Turn off Wi-Fi, wait for a couple of seconds and then turn it back on.

In the smartphone world, there is a simple trick when users have connectivity issues, and that trick is to turn on the Airplane mode, wait a bit, and turn it back on.

Solution No.2: Restart your BlackBerry Priv and your router

Often, this is all you need to do to put things in motion again. Simply restart your BlackBerry Priv, turn off your router and turn it back on after a couple of seconds. Once you do this, try to connection to a Wi-Fi network. Hopefully, everything will work just fine.

Solution No.6: Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep should be set to Always

You need to make sure that the option “Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep” is set to Always. To do that, navigate to Settings, tap More and then tap Advanced.

Solution No.7: Make sure the apps on your Priv are up to date

To do this, open the Play Store app, tap on three horizontal lines to open the menu and then tap on “My apps & games”. Click Update All.

You also need to make sure that the software is up to date. Every new version brings some improvements and fixes the bugs users are experiencing. You can check for the update manually:

  • Go to Settings
  • Tap About
  • Tap System Updates
  • Check for updates

Solution No.9: Firmware update
