Apple Watch is an excellent choice for all the people out there who love fancy gadgets. It is the most popular smartwatch that comes with awesome design and cool features. If you are using this watch for a while, and if you downloaded many apps, perhaps you noticed the Apple watch responding slowly. It is because more apps = more animations, but with just a few simple steps you can get rid of the problem. All you need to do is to enable “Reduce motion”. Let’s see how to do just that.

There are two methods to enable “Reduce motion” option, and we are going to show you both.

Method No.1: Do it from your iPhone

To enable this option from your iPhone, do the following:

  • Open the Apple Watch on your iPhone
  • Tap General
  • Next, tap on Accessibility
  • Click on Reduce motion
  • Toggle the switch next to it until it turns green (which means it’s enabled)

Method No.2: Do it from your Apple Watch

You can enable “Reduce motion” using your Apple Watch, and here is how:

  • Navigate to Settings
  • Tap General
  • Next, tap on Accessibility
  • You will see “Reduce motion” there, so just toggle it

Reduce motion limits animations of the user interface, which is why the Apple Watch won’t respond slowly anymore. We showed you both methods to enable this option, so you choose the one that is more convenient for you. You can always turn the option off if you change your mind, just follow the same steps as the ones you saw above, and toggle “Reduce motion”.
