One of the things that can be quite annoying on every single phone, not just Galaxy S8 is all the notifications from apps that keep popping out. Yes, some of them can be useful, but let’s face it – a bunch of notifications are irrelevant and they just keep disturbing you. The great thing is that you can disable them. There are two options, disable all app notifications or only a few that you don’t find interesting. Let’s see how to do it.
- Navigate to Settings
- Next, tap Notifications
- Right at the top, you will see “All notifications”
- If you want to turn them all off, toggle the switch next to it.
Don’t want to turn all the notifications off? Not a problem. All you need to do is find the app you want on the list, tap on it, and then decide what to do.
You will notice several options. Toggle “Allow notifications” to turn it on/off. There are some other options, such as Show silently, On lock screen, and Set a priority. All these options allow you to customize the app notification settings any way you want. Just go through the list of apps, and set the options for each as you please.
