Here is how you can delete Safari search history on your iPhone or iPad:
- First, close the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad
- Navigate to Settings
- Scroll down and click on Safari
- Tap on Clear History
Your search history is now deleted. You can also clear cookies and data if you like. This option is located under the “Clear History” option.
If you are using family iPad, for example, to search the web and don’t want to clear the history after each search, you can use the Private search mode. When you open Safari web browser on your iPhone or iPad, just type on “Private” and the browser won’t store the addresses of websites you have visited.
