Apple has announced that there are more than 1 billion Apple devices actively used around the globe, in the fiscal 2016 1Q report. These Apple products are iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod touch, Apple TV, and Apple Watch. Apple got this data by recording the Apple devices that are connected to their services within 90 days. Apple also said the number of active devices increased 25% year-over-year.
Apple didn’t divide the percentage of Apple devices, but the iPhone and iPad should be at the top as the most used devices. It’s seen from the profit, which they announce every quarter. iPhone and iPad always were at the top of their sales list, so far.
From the financial results for its fiscal 2016 first quarter ended December 26, 2015, Apple got a new record. They sold 74.8 million iPhones, along with 5.3 million Macs and 16.1 million iPads during the first quarter of the 2016 fiscal year. Apple also earned slightly over $6 billion in revenue from services, including App Store and iTunes sales, AppleCare, Apple Music subscriptions, Apple Pay, licensing and more.
This year, they were also reported to release the new products, such as iPhone 5SE, iPad Air 3, the redesigned Apple Watch, the new upgrade for MacBook, and more. Their new products may make the next new record, 2 billion active Apple devices. We’ll see!
