The stock messaging app on Android does not have the spam SMS blocking feature but plenty of apps are available in the Google Play store which helps you in this case. But if you are using Hangout as your default messaging app then the entire process to block spam SMS is described here.
- First, download and install the Hangout app on your Android device.
- Next set it as default by going to settings>More>Default SMS and Choose Hangout to set it as default.
- Now, you need to create a blacklist. To do so, Launch the Hangout app and select any unwanted message.
- Now, tap on the three dot menu icons at the top right corner. Select ‘People and Options’.
- Tap ‘Block number’ and that number will be blocked. So you will not receive any SMS from that particular number.
- You can, later on, unblock the number if required following the same method.

They are present in most of the browser, so you are supposed to face them irrespective of which browser you are using. There are mainly two ways, you can either unsubscribe the spam email or else block them. However, this will depend on the type of spam mail.
Unsubscribe the spam mail: When you receive an email from a legitimate company it accompanies an unsubscribe link. The link will be present definitely with the email. You can tap on that link and it will open a browser. There you need to confirm that you are unsubscribed.
Block the spam email on Android: In case you are frequently receiving an email from a company even though you have clicked that unsubscribed button, then go for blocking the spam email.
