Today Apple announced that Apple Watch will be available in 7 other countries started from 26 June 2015. Those lucky countries are Italy, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan. Apple Watch will be available online and sold in chosen retail stores. This is a continuation of the previous successful Apple Watch’s sales in 9 countries i.e Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, UK and US which was predicted has reached 7 millions unit according to some analysts, even though we have not seen the official data of Apple Watch sales from Apple itself.
Apple has informed that some stores has been chosen as a special, curated selection of the Apple Watch available at Launch. Some of those stores are 10 Corso Como in Milan, BOONTHESHOP Cheongdam in Seoul and Malmaison by The Hour Glass in Singapore. Apple chooses some famous boutiques beside Apple Store and Authorized Apple Store for selling the Apple Watch.
Apple’s senior vice president of Operations, Jeff Williams said:
“The response to Apple Watch has surpassed our expectations in every way, and we are thrilled to bring it to more customers around the world. “We’re also making great progress with the backlog of Apple Watch orders, and we thank our customers for their patience. All orders placed through May, with the sole exception of Apple Watch 42 mm Space Black Stainless Steel with Space Black Link Bracelet, will ship to customers within two weeks. At that time, we’ll also begin selling some models in our Apple Retail Stores.”
Apple also announced that the Apple Watch would be available for sale in retail stores in the United States. Since its launch in 24 April, the Apple Watch has exclusively been available online.
