Apple News app was launched as the part of iOS 9. This useful application collects the stories you are interested in from the leading news sources, so you won’t miss anything important. The app is beautifully designed, and it allows you to enjoy the articles in the best possible manner.
This service was not available in the UK, but fortunately that’s changed. Apple has rolled out the app through iOS 9.1 update and iPhone and iPad users in the UK can read the articles which are based on the topics they are interested in without the need to move from one app to another.
“Apple News collects all the stories you want to read, from top news sources, based on topics you’re most interested in — so you no longer need to move from app to app to stay informed,” an Apple spokesman said.
According to The Guardian, News app launches with 14 news and magazine partners, including The Guardian, BBC, Sky News, Telegraph, Trinity Mirror, Sun, Cosmopolitan, and Vanity Fair.
“The ways consumers access content and news is changing hugely with digital advancements, highlighting the need for traditional media owners to ensure they adapt with consumers,” Chris Russel, product director at Trinity Mirror said.
