There is no detail data on how many Windows 10 adoptions is there each month, but we can assume, from the end of July it has been installed 40 million per month. It is predicted that Windows 10 will reach 480 million devices. However, that prediction number has a huge error range due to there is no precise data.
At this time, Windows 10 is still in a free upgrade mode for Windows 7 and 8 users. By targeting 1 billion devices in next 3 years, Microsoft still has time to increase the Windows 10 adoptions, foremost during the free upgrade promo.
