Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 is expected to come with a significant upgrade, the addition of a large outer display. Recently, @OnLeaks and MediaPeanut released CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, which provided the first look at the new display.

The renders show the display extending down alongside the camera bumps in an upside-down folder shape, taking up most of the phone's outer surface. The new display is estimated to be around 3.4 inches, significantly larger than the small panel used on the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Flip 4.

While it remains uncertain if Samsung will enable full apps on the outer display, the possibilities are enormous. The rest of the phone seems to be mostly unchanged from previous models, with the same unfolded dimensions measuring 165 x 71.8 x 6.7mm.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are anticipated to launch in July, ahead of the usual schedule for the company.
