OnePlus 12 Unveils Sleek Design and Cutting-Edge Features for Dec 5 Launch
OnePlus has moved forward the launch date for its highly anticipated OnePlus 12, now scheduled for December 5 in China. Originally tied to the company's 10th-anniversary celebrations, the unveiling promises to be grand.
Days before the official debut, OnePlus has treated fans to high-quality images showcasing the design of its upcoming flagship. These official renders confirm previous leaks, revealing a hole-punch display design and a distinctive triple camera setup at the rear, adorned with the prestigious Hasselblad branding.
The handset's aesthetic is further highlighted by a punch-hole cutout on the display, elegantly housing the selfie camera. With curved edges and narrow bezels, the OnePlus 12 continues the brand's commitment to sleek design. The rear circular camera module, featuring the iconic Hasselblad logo, adds a touch of sophistication.
Notably, the design maintains a semblance to its predecessor, the OnePlus 11, launched in China in January. The official launch is set for December 5 at 2:30 pm local time, following the 10th-anniversary celebrations on the previous day. Pre-reservations for the device are already open via OnePlus's official online store and JD.com, with a potential global launch in January.
Beyond aesthetics, the OnePlus 12 boasts impressive technical specifications. The ProXDR display by BOE offers a 2K resolution and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, earning it A+ certification from DisplayMate. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is powering the device, accompanied by a new generation X-axis motor for enhanced gaming experiences.
The smartphone is set to run on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14. It features a primary rear camera sensor from Sony, the LYTIA LYT808, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, marking a significant leap in OnePlus's imaging capabilities.
