Microsoft's revamped search engine, Bing AI, is now moving into open preview, three months after its debut. Users no longer have to deal with a waitlist to access the chatbot, but still need to sign into Bing on the Edge browser or Bing mobile apps. To celebrate this new phase, Microsoft has also rolled out several new features.

Bing AI can now deliver charts, graphs, and rich formatting in addition to text responses. The Bing Image Creator, which uses DALL-E to generate AI pictures, now supports over 100 languages. Microsoft is also working on multi-modal support, which will enable users to upload images to search for specific content.

The addition of conversation histories allows users to continue older discussions, and if a user clicks a link from a chat result, their conversation will be moved to the Edge sidebar for easy reference.

Microsoft is also working on bringing over context from previous chats into conversations, adding share and export features, and improving summarization. Third-party plugins will soon be offered for Bing's AI chat, enabling users to confirm reservations or fetch math solutions.

Microsoft plans to announce more AI and Edge upgrades at its Build conference later this month.
