If you are an iPhone user, make sure to get the latest version of Google Maps because you’ll be able to avoid traffic jam.
Google Maps for iOS is updated, and it now comes with spoken traffic alerts, very useful navigation feature. The same app for Android already has it.
The app now speaks out the alerts about traffic congestion and incidents, and you will get all the essential traffic conditions info. Congested areas on the route are marked in red, and you’ll be able to see delay time as well.
This is super useful, because you’ll know the situation on your route and what exactly is going on so you can change the route if needed. Great!
