When there is a problem with the navigation in your GPS it could either be a software issue or the GPS antenna on your device. Usually, the problem is with the software and in order to solve this problem follow these steps:

  • Go to Settings
  • On this screen tap on Location
  • Here select Mode and out of the three options you get pick High Accuracy
  • Exit and try your GPS system to check if the navigation works fine

Method 2

Clearing the cache of the Google Maps can also help solve the GPS issues:

  • Go to Settings
  • Locate and tap on Maps in the list
  • Next tap on Storage and then Clear Cache

Method 3

Use an app – GPS Status & Toolbox. You can download this app from Google Play store. Besides being easy to use it is also a useful app and helps to improve your navigation. Your phone can locate a GPS satellite faster with this app.
