Ways to fix Galaxy S4 SD card issue

Method 1: Reinsert the SD card

Whenever you face any SD-card-related issue the first and foremost step is to switch off the phone and then try inserting the SD-card. Wait for few seconds and then turn on your phone. This is the way to refresh the system of your phone and sometimes the minor issues get solved in this way.

Method 2: Format the SD card

Formatting can be done in two ways. You can format it through your Galaxy S4, or else it can be done using a windows based computer also.

> For formatting through Galaxy S4, insert the SD-card properly in the SD-card slot and make sure that it is placed properly. Now go to the Apps icon.

> Select settings.

> Click on the storage that you will find out under ‘More tab’.

> Select the option ‘Format SD card’ and wait for the process to be finished.

And for formatting your SD-card using a computer insert the card in the appropriate slot of your computer and then

> Go to ‘My computer’

> Right click on the SD-card icon will give you the option of formatting.

> Select the option to format.

Method 3

In case you spot any fault in the SD-card then exchange it to fix Galaxy S4 SD-card issue.
