> First boot your Galaxy Note 4 in safe mode and notice that if there is any sign of lagging or freezing.

> If you do not face any such issues, then be sure that one of the new installed apps has led to this problem.

> Try to find out the app by going to the app list and clear the cache and data from that app.

> But if you still face the same issue, then uninstalling or disabling of that app can fix Galaxy Note 4 lag and freezing issue.

> And if this freezing or lagging issue occurs during the booting in safe mode, then it is happening because of the firmware-related problem.

> To correct this firmware issue you have to go for a factory reset which requires you to keep a backup of the important files before.
