One of such features is Battery Edge. When your Priv is charging, the battery edge will appear on the right side of the screen, and it will show you current battery percentage and the time life for the battery to be fully charged (as you can see in the photo below). The reason why this feature is not working is because some options are not enabled, so as soon as you turn them on, the battery edge should start working normally. One more thing that you should keep in mind is that feature turns off automatically if your device is charging in the dark room. The main reason for this is quite simple, it turns off so the user can sleep without being disturbed by the light.

Turn on Battery Edge

You need to enable this feature. To do that, just go to Settings, tap Display and make sure the “Battery Edge” option is turned on.

Turn on Ambient Display

This is the other option that must be enabled and if it’s not battery edge will not work. Go to Settings, tap Display and turn on Ambient display.

That is all. Now you should see the Battery Edge on the display of your BlackBerry Priv when your device is charging.
