How To Auto-Refresh The Page In Opera Browser
Imagine the situation that you read some textual online broadcast, such as a football match. The editors add information about the event in accordance with the match time, but you can’t read it on time because it is necessary to refresh the page. Then, the auto-refresh page lets you get rid of the constant and repetitive clicking on “Restart” or the F5 key which is very uncomfortable.
This feature was a built-in toll in the browser, but later on, the developers of the browser somehow ignored this feature in the newer versions.
But, there is alternative way that can automatically refresh the web-pages in Opera and keep them updated, just follow these instructions:
Click on Menu button on the top-left corner, and click on “Get extensions”.
Then in the search field on the right, enter the text “Page autoreload”. Select the first result from the left, and when you open it click on button “Add to Opera”.
After the installation is complete, go to Menu < Extensions < Extension Manager and you will see “options of “Page autoreload” add-on and open it.
There you will see the update intervals in minutes which you can set to auto-refresh and the minimum is 1 min. After you choose the interval, click on “Save”.
Then, just go to the website, click on the page with the right mouse button and find the “Reload every” option. Choose 2 min, for example, and the page will refresh every 2 minutes.
