Google Pixel 7a's "Coral" Variant Costs More in the UK than Other Colors

Google's latest smartphone, the Pixel 7a, is now available in four different colors, with "Coral" being an exclusive pinkish-orange hue offered only through the Google Store.
While US buyers can get this color option at no extra charge, it appears that UK buyers are being charged an extra £50 for it. The "Sky," "Charcoal," and "Chalk" color options are priced at £449, while the Coral model comes in at £499.
It should be noted that this upcharge is exclusive to the UK and doesn't apply in any other country where the Pixel 7a is sold. Additionally, the Coral color isn't offered at all in Australia, India, Singapore, and Taiwan.
There are no hardware differences between the Coral and other color variants, which makes the price difference even more perplexing.
