Samsung's New Galaxy A Phones: A15, A15 5G, A25 5G Hit the Stage

Samsung breaks tradition, surprising consumers by unveiling its latest Galaxy A-series devices ahead of schedule. The lineup includes the Galaxy A15, available in 4G and 5G variants, and the Galaxy A25 5G. Each phone offers unique features while sharing a common foundation.

All three models showcase vibrant 6.5-inch Super AMOLED displays with FHD+ resolution, boasting Infinity-U notch cutouts for a sleek look. The A15 models boast a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, while the A25 takes it up a notch with a 120Hz panel, reaching an impressive 1,000 nits brightness, compared to the A15s' 800 nits. Samsung introduces a 13MP front-facing camera across the lineup, complemented by the innovative Key Island design around the power and volume keys.

Distinguishing themselves under the hood, the Galaxy A15 runs on MediaTek's Helio G99 chip, offering 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage with expansion capabilities. Its 5G counterpart, the A15 5G, features the Dimensity 6100+ chip, 8GB RAM, and 256GB expandable storage. Stepping up, the Galaxy A25 5G boasts the Exynos 1280 chip, 6/8GB RAM, and 128GB expandable storage.

In the photography department, the A15 models sport a 50MP f/1.8 main camera, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro cam. The A25 5G takes it a notch higher with a 50MP main shooter featuring OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro cam.

All three devices run on One UI 6.0 based on Android 14, ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience. With robust 5,000 mAh batteries and 25W charging support, these phones promise enduring performance.

The color palette includes Yellow, Fantasy Blue, Optimistic Blue, and Black. Pricing starts at VND 4,990,000 ($205) for the Galaxy A15 4G, VND 6,290,000 ($260) for the A15 5G and VND 6,590,000 ($271) for the Galaxy A25 5G. Open sales in Vietnam commence on December 16, with a global rollout expected in the coming weeks.
