Chinese smartphone manufacturer, vivo, has announced the launch of its new tablet, the vivo Pad2, alongside its new flagship foldable smartphones. The Pad2 boasts a number of impressive features including a 144Hz screen, a Dimensity 9000 chipset, and a massive 10,000 mAh battery.

The tablet features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1800 x 2880px and a 144Hz refresh rate. The 7:5 aspect ratio of the screen is ideal for dealing with vertical content, and the tablet's metal unibody design and quad speakers with Golden Ear tuning offer a premium user experience.

Under the hood, the vivo Pad2 is powered by a Dimensity 9000 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It also features a 13MP main camera on the back alongside a 2MP macro lens, and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The tablet is equipped with a 10,000 mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

The vivo Pad2 runs on OriginOS 3, based on Android 13. In addition to the tablet, vivo has also introduced a new keyboard cover case with a built-in trackpad and a second-generation stylus that attaches to the side of the tablet via magnets.

The vivo Pad2 is available in grey, blue, and purple colors and starts at CNY 2,499 ($364) for the baseline 8/128GB model. The 12/512GB model is priced at CNY 3,399 ($495). The tablet is currently available in China, and international pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
