Ahead of its March 5 launch, Nothing has revealed the complete design of its Phone (4a), showing off a redesigned Glyph lighting system and transparent back panel. The company posted official renders on social media this week, giving consumers an early look at what will be one of the first major smartphone launches of 2026.

The most noticeable change is the new Glyph Bar replacing previous LED strip designs. This feature includes nine individually controllable mini-LEDs positioned to the right of the triple camera island.

According to Nothing, these lights are 40% brighter than those on previous A-series devices and deliver what the company calls "a more natural, neutral, bleed-free glow."

Visually, the Phone (4a) maintains Nothing's signature semi-transparent aesthetic but introduces several refinements. The horizontal pill-shaped camera module now sits closer to the top edge of the device, while button placement has shifted higher on the frame for improved reachability.

Early images suggest color options will expand beyond black and white to include blue and pink variants.

Nothing confirmed last week that Snapdragon chipsets will power both the Phone (4a) and its expected Pro counterpart. Industry leaks point to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor handling core operations.

Display specifications reportedly include a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Camera hardware appears similar to last year's Phone (3a) series, with rumors suggesting a triple rear setup led by a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens and another 50MP telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom. A 32MP front-facing camera is also expected for selfies and video calls.

Battery capacity remains unconfirmed, though earlier hints suggested a 5,400mAh cell with support for 50W wired charging.

Storage configurations are expected to include 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage options, as well as a 12GB RAM/256GB variant based on circulating specifications.

The March 5 global launch event in London begins at 10:30 AM local time (2:30 PM Dubai Time). Pricing information hasn't been officially disclosed, but European leaks indicate the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant will start at €389 in Germany and Spain, with the 12GB RAM/256GB model expected at €429.

Nothing CEO Carl Pei has already confirmed there won't be a Phone (4) flagship this year, making last year's Phone (3) the current top-tier model in their lineup. This positions the Phone (4a) series as mid-range alternatives focused on delivering core features at accessible price points.
