Honor 90 GT Debuts in China
Honor has introduced its latest flagship contender, the Honor 90 GT, in China, boasting impressive features. The device packs a punch with last year's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a whopping 24GB of RAM, and rapid 100W charging capabilities.
The Honor 90 GT sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1,200 x 2,664px resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Noteworthy features include a 3,840Hz PWM dimming panel, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 16MP front-facing camera neatly tucked into a punch-hole cutout. Turning to the rear, the device boasts a 50MP main camera featuring a Sony IMX906 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS), accompanied by a 12MP ultrawide lens.
At the heart of the device is the formidable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, coupled with a remarkable 24GB RAM, marking the highest RAM capacity on any Honor smartphone to date. The baseline model offers 12GB RAM, while the mid-tier version steps it up to 16 GB. Storage options range from 256GB to a capacious 1TB.
Running on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 14, the Honor 90 GT is fueled by a robust 5,000 mAh battery, supporting swift 100W fast charging. The device comes in three sleek colors: Black, Blue, and Gold. Pricing starts at CNY 2,599 ($365) for the 12/256GB variant and goes up to CNY 3,699 ($520) for the model featuring 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. Open sales in China commence on December 26.
