On April 16, 2023, Huawei announced its latest products, including the budget-friendly Enjoy 60X smartphone and the upgraded Band 8.

The Enjoy 60x is centered around a large 6.95-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 680 SoC, combined with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, powers the phone.

The Enjoy 60X sports a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front houses a single 8MP selfie camera in the notch. The smartphone's standout feature is its 7,000mAh battery, which Huawei claims will last at least two days with moderate to heavy usage. However, the device only supports 22.5W input, which may result in longer charging times.

Remarkably, the 512GB memory variant can reverse charge at 22.5W via cable. The device runs on HarmonyOS 3.0 out of the box and is available in five different colors. The White, Green, and two Black versions are made of plastic, while the Orange and one of the Black versions feature a faux leather finish. Unfortunately, pricing and availability information for the Enjoy 60X is still unknown, and it is unclear whether it will be released outside of China.

Additionally, Huawei revealed its latest fitness tracker, the Band 8, which is an upgrade from its predecessor. The new band weighs 14 grams without the strap, houses a 1.47-inch OLED screen with 194 x 369px resolution and has a more blocky appearance with flat sides.

Huawei has focused on additional features with the new Band 8, such as its improved TruSleep 3.0 tracker, TruSeen 5.0 for heart rate tracking and other bodily functions, and TruSport, which can recognize 100 different activities. The software includes more than a thousand presets available for watch face customization, some of which support AoD.

The Band 8 is available in Green, Black, and Pink options without NFC for CNY 269 or with NFC for CNY 309. The Black/Orange version with a fabric strap is available for CNY 279 without NFC or CNY 319 with NFC. Pre-sales start today, and the actual shipments will begin after April 26, with the special Orange version launching on May 31.
