According to display analyst Ross Young, Apple is planning to launch larger display sizes for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max in 2024. The new sizes will measure 6.3 and 6.9 inches, respectively, making them the biggest screens ever introduced by the company. The standard iPhone 16 models are expected to retain the 6.1 and 6.7-inch display sizes that have been used in recent years.

The information was confirmed by Young, who has a reputation for providing accurate insights into Apple's plans. The larger displays will be exclusive to the Pro models and will not be available on the more affordable iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. This suggests that the Pro models could potentially see a design revision, a decrease in bezels, or both.

Young notes that the 6.3 and 6.9-inch sizes are rounded up, and more specific measurements are expected to be announced at the upcoming Display Week conference in Los Angeles on May 23.

The current iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max feature 6.1 and 6.7-inch displays, which are expected to be retained for this year's iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The introduction of larger display sizes for the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max in 2024 could signal a shift towards even larger screens in future models.
