Apple is rumored to have a plan to release the “S” version of Apple Watch and will announce it in March, as it was reported by Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster. This rumor is in line with the previous one, which said that Apple will announce a minor Apple Watch with a bit changing in its hardware at Apple event in March. According to the new report, this upgrade is related to the internal hardware.
Apple Watch “S” version is going to have the processor upgrade, battery, and new bands. It will also have WiFi dedicated, so that can connect to WiFi without an iPhone. Currently, the Apple Watch first generation has the S1 processor and battery that can last up to 24-hour in normal usage. Apple Watch “S” seems to have a better performance and battery.
Apple is planning to hold an event for media on March 15, 2016, and reportedly will announce this “S” version alongside the other Apple products.
